To use Pingit to send a payment in euros, you just need the name of the person you're sending money to and their International Bank Account Number (IBAN).

Sending money

To use Pingit to send a payment in euros, you need to be 16 or over, have a UK current account and a UK-registered mobile number. Then you'll just need an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) for your recipient.

  • Send anything from £25 to £2,000. You must have the amount you're sending available in your account when you set up the payment and leave it there until the payment has left your account – which could be the next working day
  • If you send your payment before 3:00pm UK time on a UK working day, it should arrive during the next working day

To use Pingit to send a payment in Australian dollars, you need to be 16 or over, have a UK current account and a UK-registered mobile number.

You'll need to get a full name, BSB (Bank-State-Branch number), and bank account number for the person you're sending money to. Pop those into your Pingit app and off you go.

We'll ask you to enter the bank account number and IFSC for the person you're sending money to. Then we'll ask you why you're sending the money. We're not being nosy – the Reserve Bank of India needs us to give this information so that the payment can go through.
