If you are a Barclays customer who is self-isolating or shielding, you can now get a free or discounted ‘Volunteer Shopping Device’ which you can give to a trusted person to pay for shopping on your behalf, avoiding the need to share account details or use cash.

Complete this form to get more information on accessing this service. Terms and conditions apply. Eligible customers can claim a Volunteer Shopping Device until 31 July 2020 and delegate it until 31 August 2020.

£45 Contactless limit

You can now go cashless with your Pingit card and device for transactions up to £45. It’s best to check with the retailer first to see that they’ve increased their limits as well.

You can also freeze your card and device at any time in the app, giving you peace of mind if you’ve misplaced it.

Supporting the community

Many charities are currently trying to find new ways to fundraise right now, Pingit Giving is one way you could help.

You can raise funds for your chosen charity by creating a fundraising page in the app. Your friends, family and colleagues don’t need to have Pingit to be able to donate and 100% of their donation (including any gift aid) will go directly to the charity.

Simply share your fundraising page from the app and track how much you’ve raised for the charity of your choice.
